The greatest question... If only the answer were yes

So I love when you go to get a shot, see the doctor, make an appointment, or even a trip to the ER if you're a woman you get the "Is there a possibility you're pregnant?" question. I finally felt so bad at school today that during my prep I called the Dr. office and made an appointment. I go in on Monday, so we'll see how it goes. When the lady asked why I was coming it I told her I was in a lot of pain and that usually that is normal, but this was even worse than my normal. So her response was... is there any way you're pregnant. My response was "Now that would be a miracle..." Any other ways I should have answered that question?

Hopefully I can finally get some answers instead of being switched to a new BCP which is what they've been doing for the last few times I've seen them.

Oh that dreaded question. I just try to find a snarkier way to answer it each time.

Good luck to you on Monday!

Hello-
I wanted to say welcome. I found your blog posted on Mel's. I have PCOS and severe endo. But by your description mine must not be that severe. I never had pain like that. The doctor found out I had endo after a laparascopy due to an ectopic pregnancy I had.
I also want to introduce my non profit, Parenthood for Me.org. Our mission is to provide financial and emotional support to those starting families through adoption or medical intervention. Please visit our website and blog and pass the link on. Thank you for your support. I look forward to reading your blog

Here from Lost and Found and Connections Abound...

When I was first TTC, I was at the dentist and got that question before x-rays. I stupidly said yes. The dentist, who is the husband of a friend of mine, came in to do the exam and said, "So I hear that you're with child!" I've wondered what he thought when years went by and no baby materialized.

Luckily he's so professional that I know there's no way he said anything to his wife, whom I haven't told.

Best wishes to you!

"Not unless there's some freaky immaculate stuff going on"
Today I asked if there was any chance a baby was hiding in the crevices during my ultrasound.
Poor girl didn't have much of a sense of humor.
